“ Luckily just chose this place on our first night in Islamorada. Looks like a great casual place for eat in but we elected take-out! Pizza and pasta were terrific! Salads are great. ”

“ Definitely the best food while in the Keys! We loved the outside patio. Small with 5 tables well spread out. The food was amazing. We split an entree salad as well as an entree so we could have dessert. They have amazing pasta dishes we let our waitress choose for us. Same with the desserts. She did amazing! We split the Greek salad one night and the Caesar another night. We had a seafood pasta dish, shrimp di pomodoro one night and spaghetti and meatballs another night. ”

“ We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming roadside spot. From the front it doesn't look like much - tucked in next to a sporting good and CBD/week shop. The outside was lovely with a cozy foliage lined patio. They're known for Italian food so we happily obliged. We had the lasagna with bolognese, the tortellini alla Michelangelo, shrimp de pomodoro with pasta, and Caesar salad. Everything was freshly prepared with great flavor. The lasagna was surprisingly light - not at all greasy or too dense. The coconut cake was delicious too! Our server was awesome. Friendly and approachable - very kind! ”
“ After receiving a recommendation from a local, we popped into Bayside for pizza and then walked into our childhood. Food First: I had ricotta pizza with added mushrooms, Spouse had Hawaiian with Jalapenos. Both were amazing. The Ricotta was generous and flavorful. Hawaiian was equally amazing. The crust - perfect. (We have amazing North End Boston Pizza, and this was better). Staff: Super cool, we wanted for nothing, they checked in on us a lot and were good people, we didn't feel bothered at all. Ambiance: I can't, I just can't. It's not mentioned anywhere but this place is a late 70's through late 80's dream. THEY HAD A TEDDIE RUXPIN AND AN ALF. Are you freaking kidding me? Video games, TRON, Dragons Slayer, Rampage, Star Wars, Pong, and more or free. The owner came out for no particular reason, and was wearing a Thunder Cats T-Shirt, I happened to also be wearing mine and ran over, "THUNDER CATS, ROOOAHHH" I am blown away. If you are in the Keys, specifically Islamorada, stop what you are doing. Get a pizza here, and revisit your childhood. ”
“ My beautiful wife & I are vacationing and for our first night we decided to try this establishment. We are very glad we did! We enjoyed the outdoor seating. My wife really liked the muffuletta (plantation). I enjoyed immensely my pizza with meatball. The sauce , cheese, crust & meat combined perfectly. Caitlin was an awesome server. She was on fire! We both highly recommend the Bayside Gourmet! ”
“ Very few 5 star rated restaurants in Islamorada but this one was easily. The waiting area had retro standup arcade games - played Ms Pac Man and got the high score. There about eight tables in the small restaurant and outside seating but way too humid out for that idea. The decor was 1980's themed with Blockbuster Video boxes on the walls in addition to retro album covers like Men at Work and Van Halen. The Grouper Reuben sandwich and the Baby Spinach Salad with Tuna were very fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. The bathroom was updated and clean. ”
